  1. By entering this competition (the 'Competition'), the Entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions, and agreed to be bound by them.
  2. The Organizers of the Competition are Youth Science Canada.
  3. The Competition shall run for 1 November 2015 to 20 May 2016. Round 1 shall run from November 1 to January 31, 2016 - any entries received outside these dates will not be accepted.
  4. The Competition is open to all Canadian full-time students enrolled in grades 7 to 12 (CEGEP 1 or 2 in Quebec). Employees of the Organizers, sponsors, their families, and anyone associated with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
  5. The shortlisted finalists and the winners have one week after being contacted to respond to the Organizers, and if return contact is not made within that time period, the prize(s) will be forfeited. The Organizers will select another finalist and the winners in accordance with the selection criteria set out.
  6. The Prizes or elements of the Prizes are not transferable. Exchanges or refunds of the Prizes are forbidden.
  7. The Organizers reserve the right to refuse to honour any entry if they consider there has been an abuse of this Competition or a breach of these terms and conditions.
  8. The Organizers' decision is final on any situation including any not covered in these terms and conditions. Please note that the Organizers will not enter into any correspondence concerning any decisions made.
